Celey is a writer, performer, comedian, and general creative polymath. Raised in northern Vermont--where the cows outnumbered the people--she has always been passionate about exploring new ideas and getting her hands dirty in order to figure things out.

She also worked in a movie theatre and drive-in since the age of 9 (don't worry, it was a family business) and that's where her love of all things storytelling began. A lifelong athlete (ahem, benchwarmer) and visual artist who grew up watching people watch movies, she approaches all her endeavors by prioritizing teamwork, creativity, and the central question of "what do we actually want to see?"

She attended Middlebury College where she double-majored in Physics and Studio Art, then the University of Washington for an unused masters degree in Structural Engineering (“Money well spent!”-her dad). She now lives in Los Angeles with her girlfriend and their very fluffy/mischievous Australian Shepherd.
